Fabulous 4th of July

We had a really busy, but fun 4th of July this year.  We started by going to the balloon fest in Provo on Friday with the Rapiers and Alexanders and then went to breakfast at Magelby's fresh (the best part).  We woke up all the kids at 5:45 am and were headed out to see the hot air balloons by 6:00.  After that we came home for naps and then headed out to go swimming.  We were all pretty tired by the end of the day.
Saturday we woke up early again and were off to see the parade in Provo.  Our super awesome friends (Dave and Krissa Allen) saved us an awesome spot at the parade,  complete with a canopy for shade, and this year, rain!  This was the first time we had ever gone to the Provo parade and we had a great time...we'll definitely do it again!  Later that day was a barbecue and fireworks with neighborhood friends.  We had a great holiday, complete with holiday hangover the next day at church.
Jackson is a nerd and hates his picture taken, so he turned his back.
ha ha Jackson!  I got one!

Abby and Paisley
Krew thinking about getting in...he really never did.

Darren and Paisley at the Parade
Krew and Addi Brinkerhoff
Dave and Krissa Allen, and Matt Brinkerhoff
I probably shouldn't point this out, but for some reason I'm always talking in pictures.  Do I really talk that much?
Once again, Jackson is happy to get his picture taken
My sweet little Krew that we lost that day.  It was by far the worst experience of my life!!!
Jackson and Parker, watching fireworks (yes it was still light outside, but the kids couldn't wait!)
Lisa Broberg, me, Cari Packer, and Megan Rapier
(once again, do I seriously never shut up?!?!?)

The hot air balloons look like so much fun. I love the pictures of Jackson not wanting his picture taken. they cracked me up. Looks like you guys have all kinds of friends up there! HOW FUN!

What a fun weekend except for the trauma of losing Krew! The pictures reminded me of when we used to go to Park City for the balloon festival. What fun times and memories you're creating!
